As Search for Siddhartha Continues, Fisherman Says He Saw Man Jump

The Nethravathi Bridge adjoining National Highway 66 turned into a ‘war room’ for rescuers looking for 58-year-old VG Siddhartha, the founder proprietor of Cafe Coffee Day and son-in-law of former Karnataka Chief Minister SM Krishna.
While the police and rescue officials are tight-lipped over the probability of Siddhartha’s survival in the choppy waters, time to time, inflatable boats make their way into the river, along with the divers. However, at dusk, the multi-agency search has failed to yield any results.
