22-year-old woman found murdered at rented house in Mangaluru

A banking aspirant was found strangulated to death at a rented accommodation in Mangaluru city on Friday. Mangaluru City Police said that a male companion who lived-in with the 22-year-old woman is now absconding and is the prime suspect in the case.

The victim was identified as Anjana Vasista. She was found dead with a TV cable cord wound around her neck in a rented house at Attavar in Mangaluru on Friday.
